  • Safety Benches are safer with strong wing restraints.
  • Super convenient.  No more crawling around on the ground. Everything at the proper level.
  • Great club project.

The Safety Bench was designed in 2002 at the request of our club due to the accidents that had occurred at our flying field. We had several severally cut fingers and hands due to propeller strikes. We also had an incident when a flyer was injured when he tried to remove his airplane from a wide picnic type table.

We submitted a construction  article for the “Safety Bench “that was published in the sept.2002 AMA magazine “Model Aviation” ,since that time the benches have proven extremely popular and are being built all over the USA as well as Canada,Panama,Belgium,England,Australia and South Africa.
